My role within the fundraiser: Group leader and member of the manager committee.
Each week I will be ensuring everyone has a task to complete to make the fundraiser a success on the day. I will contribute as much as possible as well as attending the manager meetings to discuss the overall event and reporting back to my team to inform them of what has been discussed.
I will also be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate person is contacted (i.e Beth, Hazel or Alan) so we can have a better idea of what we are able to achieve on the day of the fundraiser.
I accepted this role because I think it will be a great challenge and give me some experience on being a leader.
